I am currently craving for some nice and feminine ankle strap heels and in my point of view Zara offers the most beautiful ones this season.

I already went for the black fellows, but I certainly also need to welcome the nude guys, or what do you think? Are you also craving for ankle strap heels this season?

Easy Peasy Summer Spaghetti

Hallo ihr Lieben,

zum Wochenstart gibt es heute von mir super leckere und total einfach zu zaubernde Sommerspaghetti - auf das sich das Wetter draußen den Sommergefühlen auf dem Teller anpasst!

Alles was ihr braucht (für 4 Personen):

500g Spaghetti

2 Mozzarella-Kugeln

4 Tomaten

10 Blätter frischen Basilikum

6 EL Olivenöl

2 EL Weißweinessig

Salz, Pfeffer

Hey loves,

some real easy to make and super yum summer spaghetti to start off this week!

All you need (for 4 people):

500g Spaghetti

2 'balls' of Mozzarella (can I say that?)

4 Tomatoes

10 Leaves of fresh Basil

6 Tablespoons Olive Oil

2 Tablespoons White Wine Vinegar

Salt, Pepper

Spaghetti in kochendes Salzwasser geben und nebenher Mozzarella und Tomaten würfeln, Basilikum zerhacken und alles zusammen in eine große Schüssel geben.

While the spaghetti are boiling dice mozzarella and tomatoes, chop the basil and put everything together in a big bowl.

Anschließend 6 EL Olivenöl und 2 EL Weißweinessig unterrühren.

Afterwards stir in 6 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of white wine vinegar.

Spaghetti abgießen und direkt in die Schüssel geben und alles untermischen. Mit Salz und Pfeffer abschmecken. Fertig!

Pour off spaghetti and put them immediately into the bowl. Mix everything up. Season with salt and pepper. Ready!

Hey guys,
how are you doing on this awful Monday? Hopefully better than I do, because my Monday absolutely started in the wrong direction! First it was raining cats and dogs, second the local trams were striking, third I hurt my hand really band (I'm actually kind of a clumsy girl LOL), fourth I went home after I made it half-way to university, fifth I'm sitting on a presentation right now and anything appears to be more appealing than this and sixth ... let's see what else this day might bring!
Anyways, I wanted to tell you that you can now find (and of course follow) me on Instagram! It took me a while to figure this thingi out, but now that I did I am already addicted *haha!

Happy Saturday

Celebrating this Saturday and its weird weather with an all over H&M look (scarf and bag excluded) I wore to work today (I'm working at a museum, btw).

After I was done working, my boy and I met up in the city to eat our very first spaghetti ice cream of the season at Eis Fontanella and what can I say? It was DELICIOUS!

The way back home led us to the famous Mannheimer Wasserturm where we discovered the most beautiful nature and those stunning pink and red tulips. Even more pretty than the yellow ones I spotted yesterday, don't you agree?

Did your city also already switched into the full blooming spring mode? This is so great, isn't it? I could spend any minute outside!

Quick Snap: Running Errands

Hey guys,

TGIF!

Although there was not that much going on this week with that extra day off on Wednesday.

Today I had to run errands and prepare some stuff for work in the city.

I almost never take the tram to the centre, because I'm using the way as a kind of workout for staying fit and healthy. So in most cases I ride the bike or go on foot.

Lately it is kind of a challenge to get dressed for this outside 'workout' actually since the weather is so undefined...

It's warm, it's cold, it's dry, it's wet... and so on and on.

This year has been and still is totally crazy weatherwise!

Anyway, one thing that is absolutely necessary while riding the bike or going on foot are flat shoes - and no one, I mean no one, can ever tell me that this is possible in heels LOL!

First stop this morning was Star Coffee, because I needed caffeine - so badly!

Btw, Star Coffee is a local coffee store chain in Mannheim and Heidelberg and tastes so much better than Starbucks does (it's cheaper, too)!

You gotta need to try that out!

How amazing are these yellow tulips I discovered in the city?

Of course there was still some time to check out the new swimwear collection by H&M!

This amazing dress that you can only see partly belongs to the collection and is actually a beach dress.

In my opinion it's a pity just to wear it at the beach and over a bikini, because it is way too beautiful to do just that.

One thing bothering, it's way too transparent to wear it on the street... DILEMMA - BIG DILEMMA!

I'll figure something out to make it work and then I'll let you know!

Hip or Bullshit meets the Hotlist meets New In: The Blooming Panama Hat

Hello guys,

seems like we skipped spring this year, don't we?

I actually didn't expected any and don't want any different, since the winter took like - what? - forever!

It'll take this year a lot of afford to redress the devastating ice age, but hey, it's a good start, isn't it?

It actually feels like a century without any proper outfit post, so I guess I do also have a lot to redress, don't I?

Trying to make up for that a little with today's post!

First of all, what do you think about Panama Hats? - Hip or Bullshit?

I am seriously so in love with them, because they make any outfit kind of effortlessly. Just what I try to achieve every single day!

Best paired with a nice and flattering maxi summer dress and a fringed bag, of course! Letting out the inner Hippie!

I also have a little story to tell about Panama Hats! Be prepared, it's a sad story too!

In September 2011 I went on a field trip to Barcelona and found the absolutely perfect classical Panama Hat that was just fitting my noticeably small head. Perfection at it's best!

There was just one thing bothering! It was about 40€! I am widely aware that this is not much for a hat like this (some go up to the 200€), but, you know, I am a student on a field trip in a kind of expensive city and really had like no money for that dreamlike hat - a true shame!

I left the beauty behind with a heavy heart and could have cried about it for years - and that's what I actually did, literally! Ever since I left that precious hat behind I was searching the entire internet, but never even came close to that kind of perfection! Much more crying!

Until now - I can finally stop being so sniveling!

I found an amazing Panama Hat by Maison Scotch that fits my head like, well, a second head (haha) and is just truly amazing!

I know it's not a classical one, but I don't care! It stands out and makes me happy, that is what counts!
